Your new role
The Process Engineer is responsible for introducing new processes and/or products (product transfer). The Process Engineer will develop and transfer knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Change Management and Inclusion. Our client currently has an industrial washing machine, cleaning parts with ethanol. However, they have parts which cannot be washed with ethanol but are now washed manually by hand with soap. Our client wants to develop and set up an automated washing process with soap instead of ethanol.
Your tasks
Setting up, implementing and reporting customised cleaning method/ equipment qualification / cleaning validation.
Managing and implementing change control for the implementation of customised cleaning.
Coordinating, reporting and executing investigations and changes for the purpose of improving existing installations and production processes.
Leading or contributing to root cause analysis (RCA/8-step) that are the result of deviations in the production process.
Primary Responsibilities
Introducing new processes and products: Managing product transfers and ensuring smooth implementation.
Knowledge transfer: Developing and sharing expertise in Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, and Inclusion.
Problem-solving: Leading cross-functional investigations to address issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Process improvement: Identifying, analysing, and prioritising opportunities for improvement in technical or business processes.
Coordination and leadership: Initiating and coordinating improvements, leading projects, facilitating kaizens, and coaching team members.
Data-driven decision-making: Contributing to decisions based on data analysis.
Moderate work direction: Working independently with moderate supervision, demonstrating skill and knowledge in the role.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is an experienced process engineer with 5+ years of experience working in a complex, highly regulated production environment in the pharmaceutical industry according to GMP standards. Candidates with experience in cleaning validation within the food sector are also welcome to apply.
Furthermore, you have:
Proficiency in managing change control processes.
Experience in qualifying and validating cleaning processes / equipment for pharmaceutical use.
Strong plus: Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt
Strong oral and written communication skills in Dutch
What you’ll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary of up to €3600 - €5,000 per month depending on experience, and your travel expenses are covered.
