Your new roleAre you a strategic thinker with experience in developing procurement policies? Do you want to make a direct impact in a growing, international company? At our client you get the chance to further develop and implement our procurement strategy. You will take the lead in the entire procurement process, from strategy to execution.
Your challenge:
You develop a procurement policy that ensures efficient processes and cost savings, with sustainability as an important pillar. You work closely with departments such as operations, facility & property, and finance to align procurement needs with our business goals. Additionally, you guide department directors in their procurement and relationship management with key suppliers. With your expertise, you ensure compliance and governance and continuously seek opportunities for optimization and value creation.
Your tasks:
- Developing and implementing a future-proof procurement policy.
- Optimizing the procurement process and contract management.
- Guiding internal stakeholders in adhering to the procurement policy.
- Maintaining and improving supplier relationships, monitoring quality and performance.
- Promoting cost savings and sustainability within the organization.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
Your profileYou are a driven and strategic professional who likes to take ownership of the procurement process. You know how to develop and implement a streamlined and sustainable procurement strategy, and you enjoy working with different departments to bring this strategy to life.
Additionally, we ask for:
- A completed HBO/WO education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
- At least 7 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in a leadership position.
- Experience with policy development and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management.
- Fluent in English.
