Our client, a dynamic company in Amsterdam, is seeking a Software Tester to join their Quality Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a strong focus on team collaboration and personal growth.
About the Role
In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the company’s software solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing both automated and manual tests, as well as maintaining test environments and quality assurance documentation.
Your Responsibilities:
- You have experience of developing and executing automated tests.
- You will conduct automated tests, analyse the results, and create meaningful test reports. Based on the results, you will derive actions to ensure quality.
- You will monitor the automated test cases and maintain the associated documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.
- You will manage monitoring systems to ensure the stability and performance of the applications. You will proactively respond to deviations or disruptions and continuously optimise systems.
- You will support quality management by creating and maintaining technical tickets and acting as an interface between quality management and other departments. You will contribute to establishing and continuously improving quality standards.
- You will be available as a point of contact for technical questions and work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Your workplace will be in our office in Amsterdam. The onboarding will take place partly in Seligenstadt, and we would be happy if you were willing to travel approximately 5–10 days per quarter.
Your Profile
- You are proficient in programming with TypeScript/JavaScript for test development using Playwright and have good knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Knowledge of PHP is an advantage, as it is relevant for working with our monitoring solutions.
- You have a strong understanding of IT systems and are familiar with common tools such as MS Office. You demonstrate quick comprehension and can easily familiarise yourself with new applications and technologies.
- You are fluent in German and English.
