Your new role
Our client in Animal Health is seeking a Qualification & Validation Officer who embraces change, continuous improvement, and solution-oriented thinking. You will ensure GMP compliance for lab equipment, manage its operations, write and review qualification protocols, and act as a Subject-Matter Expert for the equipment lifecycle. As part of the Quality Control Operations team, you will support IPTs with quality tests, conduct various tests on vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and materials, and use Lean/Six Sigma tools for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, coordinate, supervise, and qualify new equipment.
- Maintain qualified lab equipment per GMP guidelines.
- Manage lab equipment operations with QC and IT.
- Write and review qualification documents.
- Act as SME for analysts and QC leads on equipment lifecycle.
- Implement improvements and projects in QC.
- Ensure compliance with MSD quality and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- HBO level with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and QC processes.
- Computer affinity; GAMP/SDLC knowledge is a plus.
- Business insight for efficiency improvements.
- Project management skills.
- Proactive and driven to improve.
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Customer, quality, and compliance focus.
- Communicate in Dutch and English.
What you’ll get in return:
This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary ranging between €3120 – €5120, holiday allowance and your travel expenses are covered.
