Our client (one of the leaders in subsea construction) is looking for a DevOps Engineer.

Salary: 50 000 gross.

FUNCTION

The primary responsibilities of this role are to support a wide range of applications and platforms by automating tasks related to software deployment and support. You will also plan and execute the support needed for applications used in the office and on board of the vessels worldwide. As a DevOps Engineer you will collaborate with end users and stakeholders on projects and new technologies to provide IT best practices. You will also help optimize internal processes and policies to improve the company’s way of working.

The candidate we are looking for has a good understanding of IT fundamentals regarding infrastructure, Azure Cloud, software integrations, operating systems and databases. He/she has a desire to automate and innovate and is able to adapt change and picks up new information quickly. You have good communication skills, are proactive and like to collaborate with your team/colleagues. Besides this, you have HBO/BSc degree in Information Technology. Experience with custom application support. Experience with Agile (Scrum) and associated tools like Azure DevOps. Experience with ITSM (IT Service Management) tools like TopDesk.
