For our top-ranking client, we are looking for a driven Strategic Sourcing Manager for their Breda location. In this challenging role, you will work closely with different departments and spend categories within one of the world's most renowned biotechnology companies. This role is for you because you understand better than anyone how large multinational companies work and, in addition, the mix between sourcing and strategic sourcing seems like the ideal match for you!
To give you a better idea, you may think of the following responsibilities:
- Execute and implement procurement and purchasing requirements, focusing on facilities, engineering, equipment and construction
- Manage procurement activities (eRFX) using tools such as Scout-RFX and Sirion-Contracts
- Ensuring compliance with global procurement policies and procedures
- Lead contract activities, including negotiations and contract creation in Sirion
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely execution of procurement processes
- Support project teams in strategic procurement and tendering
- Manage commercial relationships between project teams and suppliers
Your profile
To fully master this role and perform it well, it will help you enormously if you have at least 5 years of experience within strategic procurement. In addition, you also have an HBO degree, and it is ideal if you have previously worked within a large multinational! Furthermore, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills and experience with various e-procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, Sirion and Scout.
Furthermore, you live in the Breda area and are available 32 to 40 hours a week.

The terms of employment

- Salary up to €6224.38 gross per month on a full-time basis, depending on experience and knowledge
- Extra 13th month, which is directly processed in your hourly wage
- Travel expenses of 0.29 ct per k/m
- 30 holiday days
- Home working allowance
- A temporary contract of 9 months, with option to extend if possible
