Your new role
Voor een internationale organisatie in Amsterdam ben ik op zoek een HR professional voor 32 tot 40 uur per week (bij voorkeur 3 dagen ter plaatse). Het betreft een zeer operationele / administratieve rol binnen een HR-team van 6 personen (overige mensen in het HR-services team: payroll, training assistents en HR officers).
We are looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of Dutch labor law and Dutch and English language skills, both oral and written, who is willing to learn, roll up their sleeves and looking forward to working within a multinational with over 31 nationalities.
Tasks:
- First contact for employees for questions relating to personnel matters.
- Advises superiors / employees concerning HR policies.
- Correct personnel administration regarding promotion, dismissal, illness and other personnel instruments.
- Correct illness guidance and applicable reporting
- Conducting exit interviews with employees.
- Support correct personnel administration regarding HR activities.
- Provide correct information to salary administration regarding personnel changes.
- Applies labor conditions, CAO-metalektro and internal regulations in a uniform and efficient way within the approved budgets and personnel rules.
Administration
- Assist with correct personnel administration regarding recruitment, promotion, dismissal, illness, and other personnel instruments.
- Produce employment contracts and variation to contracts in line with authorized management requests.
- Manage and filing of personnel administration in personnel information system/personnel files.
- Conduct an orderly administration. Supervises the preparation of supporting paperwork and subsequent filing.
- Work closely with the Payroll Department to ensure workforce information is kept up to date, and any problems identified and addressed. Issue accurate payroll instructions, to meet payroll deadlines.
- Create a suite of document templates eg employment contracts, variation to contract letters, invitation to meeting letters, resignation letters, etc. Ensure these are accessible to the team and ensure they are kept up to date and in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
Illness
- Illness guidance up to week 6; maintain contact with managers and follow up necessary actions.
- Support HR BP with illness guidance after 6 weeks.
- Schedule consultation hour of the company doctor in cooperation with Arbo service assistant.
- Have meetings with company doctor about regular illness situations.
- Follow progress of illness and recovery through reports under guidance of HR Officer and follow-up necessary actions on time.
Personnel Management
- Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
- First HR contact for employees; Investigates and advises employees on personnel matters for example care leave, parental leave, part-time work, preparing briefing papers as required and discuss with the manager.
- Preparation of communication (organizational changes, memos, etc).
- Responsible for biweekly HR consulting hours to answer questions of employees.
- Publish memos on bulletin boards.
HR Development
- Support HR BP at advising managers (e.g. generates reports, handle simple questions).
- Support Manager Labor Relations & Administration and HR Officer(s) in implementing HR policy and project on relevant topics (e.g. sustainable employability, staff handbook, recruitment, localization, from global to local policies).
Employees Benefits’ and communication
- Maintain and improve the supply of tertiary labor conditions.
- Maintaining HR communication plan, including relevant performance.
- Conducting exit interviews.
