Your new role

As a Team Lead Manufacturing, you will lead and manage a team to ensure adherence to quality standards in the production of pharmaceutical products, and perform a number of different, often daily recurring production tasks. You ensure knowledge transfer to colleagues through presentations, training sessions and mentoring new staff. You advise management on possible process enhancements and modifications in the relevant area of interest. You troubleshoot production issues and liaise with third parties when necessary. You conduct inspections and checks on products, processes and materials, including sampling and inspection.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role has completed an HBO in a life science-related field. Over the past years, you have gained at least 3 years of managerial working experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or food industry. Furthermore, you have:
  • Professional knowledge in order to oversee the specialist production processes, and understanding of current quality systems, guidelines and procedures
  • Knowledge of microbiology, particularly for work in controlled environments and aseptic techniques
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sterilisation methods in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication in Dutch and English. Both languages are a hard requirement for this role.
  • A strong commitment to personal growth through active engagement in further education and training programs

What you'll get in return

This project starts with a contract via Hays, with the intention of converting to a direct contract with the client afterward. We can offer a competitive salary package with a base salary ranging from €3.673 to €5.000 based on 40 hours per week. On top, you will receive attractive secondary benefits such as a 13th month, pension and travel expenses. The position requires flexibility for weekend and night shifts, with additional compensation through a shift allowance.
