Your new role

Our client in Leiden is looking for a Business System Owner Automation within our Bioprocessing Services department to strengthen our team with a focus on Automated Production Systems. As the System Owner for automated production systems, you are the link between operations and automation. You collaborate with local and global stakeholders on your systems, and you make sure the systems stay in qualified status by managing access management, maintenance, data integrity, audit trail review, back-up and archival strategy. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • You keep oversight of all activities and operations of your system.
  • You make sure systems stay in a qualified state and, in case of deviations, you handle these to stay in compliance.
  • You are responsible for data management and data integrity activities on your systems.
  • You are responsible for supporting projects, e.g. software updates or improvements, in a compliant way with minimal impact on production processes.
  • You ensure a solid business continuity plan is available for your system.
  • As Business System Owner, you are responsible for the systems and data lifecycle management of these systems.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will need to have relevant education in IT/Automation or specialise in this topic in a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in science/biotechnology/chemistry with at least 2 years of relevant work experience and knowledge of Automation/CSV guidelines. You’re familiar with the high standards required for pharmaceutical production and cGMP and EH&S guidelines. You are also enthusiastic, independent, innovative and stress-resistant with the ability to collaborate at different levels in the organisation. You are quality-minded and have a high service level, and you take ownership of your work and have the ability to plan and structure it.

What you'll get in return

Hays Detachering | Both positions will start with a contract for 11 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary and your travel expenses are covered.
