The department Animal Health is located at the Boxmeer site. There they develop new medicines specifically for animals. Your new role

As a QC Specialist II in the Quality Control Transfer Team you will be responsible for the transfer of high quality tests according to transfer methodology. You will be involved in the transfer of new tests of R&D for new products and also the transfer of existing tests to and from other MSD sites. You are also responsible for the performing various biological tests (cell culture tests, microbiological tests, immunofluorescence, PCR) on intermediates of vaccines and end products. You main goal will be to successfully transfer 1 or more tests from R&D or another MSD site to Quality Control Operations within set timeframes.
The team works under GMP conditions and make extensive use of Lean Six Sigma tools to solve and prevent problems in a structured and team based way to continuously improve. Other job details will include performing statistical calculations, entering test results into data processing systems, perform / monitor / report biological tests and modify existing and new SOPs and Wis.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You have a completed (micro)biological Laboratory training at a minimum MBO level (level 4)
  • You are a real team player and have a healthy sense of responsibility.
  • You have a positive approach and think in terms of solutions instead of problems.
  • Experience with GMP + 3 years in a QC lab with SAP and electronic data processing systems
  • In addition, the following properties are an advantage: accuracy, quality-conscious, flexible
  • You have good social and communication skills inDutch, both orally and in writing.
