Your new company
Our client is within the manufacturing sector. You will be working from the site in Berkel en Rodenrijs and the position is hybrid with 3 days from the office and 40 hours per week. You will be the only finance person in the Netherlands and directly reporting to the finance manager in Germany. The team in Germany consists of 2 team members. The role is Dutch speaking and having German is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings
- Preparation and support for financial audits
- Support in the preparation of budget and reforecast
- Responsible for processing incoming invoices
- Responsible for processing bank statements
- Responsible for preparation and processing of weekly payment runs
- Responsible for management of all financial data
- Close cross-functional collaboration on projects with colleagues at the plant
- Contact person for internal stakeholders in all matters concerning financial management
- Reconciliation general ledger vs. sub-ledger
- Prepares and presents the monthly / annual reports, including balance sheet and income statement consisting of:
Balances in sub-administration
Stock
Payable / prepaid expenses
Receivable / deferred income
- Provides financial periodic reports for the internal management and mother company
- Provides external information, such as sales tax, corporate tax and CBS data
- Carries out work which is assigned by the Controller / Financial Analyst
What you need to succeed
- At least a HBO education in Accounting
- Has a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment is nice to have
- Able to work independently
- Good communication and administrative skills
- Proactive, creative, flexible and reliable
- An excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written; knowledge of the German language is a pro
- Good computer skills and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What you get in return
Salary between €55.000 – €60.000 excluding holiday allowance. Additionally, a pension plan, accident insurance, yearly salary increases and 31.5 days of annual leave (additional days are offered based on your age).
